How To Access The Zuku Router Settings?
Follow these steps in order to access the Zuku router settings page. If you get stuck during the process, please refer to the troubleshooting section of this article.
STEP 1 – Connect The Device To The Network First
The device you have selected to access the network settings has to be connected to your network. In case you can’t connect you won’t be able to continue. The device can be connected to the wireless network or you can use a wired connection instead. Whatever connection method you choose it will do the job just fine. So, connect your device and skip to the next step.
STEP 2 – Open The Web Browser On Your Device
Each router has a so-called web-based interface which makes the network management pretty simple. We can access this web-based router interface with our browser. So, launch a web browser on your device and don’t worry which one you are using.
The only thing at this point to take care of is to make sure that the web browser is updated. This will help avoid some conflicts between the browser and the router’s web-based interface.
STEP 3 – Type The Zuku Router IP In The Web Browser’s URL Bar
Now, type the Zuku router IP address in the browser’s URL bar. We have already mentioned that it is 192.168.0.1. Just make sure to type it correctly.
When you enter this IP and press the Enter or Return key on your device, you should be asked for the admin username and password. In case this doesn’t happen, please check whether 192.168.0.1 is the correct router IP. We have a detailed guide on how to find the router IP address, so feel free to see how to do it properly.
STEP 4 – Enter The Zuku Admin Username And Password
As we have mentioned earlier, the Zuku router login details are:
Username: admin
Password: password
Type these login credentials when asked to do that and press the Login button. Pay attention when you enter these loin details because they are case-sensitive.
If these login details are correct you should see the Zuku router admin dashboard (the web-based interface). You will see that the settings are well organized into different categories so we believe you won’t have any problems finding the settings you like to change.
What To Do If You Can’t Login?
Sometimes the Zuku router login will fail for some reason. Here are some tips on what to do if you get stuck at one point.
1. WiFi is not enabled. If you are using a laptop check whether it has a physical on/off switch for WiFi. In case there is, make sure to enable the wireless connection and connect the device.
2. Airplane Mode is on. Check whether Airplane mode is turned on on your device. If it is, disable it and make sure the device is connected. After that try to login again.
3. Connect the device directly to the router using a network cable. If your device doesn’t have a LAN port, try using a desktop or laptop computer and see what happens. In most cases a direct connection will fix the issue and you will be able to login without problems.
4. Check whether your device obtains an IP address automatically.
5. You have entered the IP incorrectly. To make sure this is not the issue, type the IP address again.
6. The IP you are typing is not the router’s IP address. Here is a brief guide on how to find the IP on your Android phone.
7. In case you see a warning message that the connection is not secure after you type the router’s IP and press Enter, don’t worry. There is an Advanced button at the bottom, click on it and then select Proceed
8. Some firewalls or antivirus programs will block your attempt to access the router admin dashboard. To check whether this is the issue, disable them and try again.
9. Bring your device closer to the router if you are connected wirelessly. It is possible that the signal is too weak at that position.
