So, let’s begin!

What You Need:
The Home Fibr router login will be successful if you have the following:
1. You need a device like a computer, tablet or smartphone.
2. You need to have network access either over WiFi or using the network cable.
3. You need the Home Fibr router login details. These include the router’s IP address, the admin username and the admin password. You can usually find them printed on a sticker on the router or in the user’s manual.
The Default Home Fibr Router Login Details
The following login details can be used to access the Home Fibr router settings.
Default router IP address: 192.168.1.1
Default admin username: admin
Default admin password: 1234
If the login details printed on the router label are different than these ones, try logging in using them. The same applies if you have changed the admin login details earlier.
How To Login To Home Fibr Router?
These are the steps you need to follow in order to access the Home Fibr router admin dashboard.
STEP 1 – Connect Your Device
This is the most important step in the router login process. If the device isn’t connected to the network, accessing the Home Fibr settings will be impossible. Therefore, connect the device and continue to the next step.
STEP 2 – Start Your Web Browser
After you confirm that the device is connected, open the web browser. The devices we have mentioned all have a web browser installed. Open the one you use most often. It can be Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome or any other web browser.
STEP 3 – Enter The Home Fibr IP In The Browser’s URL Bar
The default Home Fibr router IP address is 192.168.1.1. You need to type it into the browser’s URL bar. Then press Enter or Go on the device and the router login page should appear asking you to enter the admin username and password.
If the router login page doesn’t appear you need to check whether your Home Fibr router is using 192.168.1.1 as a Default gateway. Please follow this guide on how to find the router’s Default Gateway. Once you find the IP use it as described above.
STEP 4 – Enter The Home Fibr Password
When the router login page appears, you should enter the admin username and password. The Home Fibr router admin username is admin, and the password is 1234. Click on the Login button and you should see the Home Fibr home page a.k.a. the router’s admin dashboard.
Now you can customize your Home Fibr router settings. You can encrypt your wireless network, you can create a separate network for your guests and visitors, control the time your children spend online with the Parental Controls, block devices from the network, find the WPS PIN to connect devices to the network without a password and so on.
If this is the first time you are accessing the Home Fibr router settings, you will be prompted to change the default admin password, wireless network name and WiFi password. However, these have already been changed and you want to change them now by yourself, here is where you can find these settings.
Let’s Change The Home Fibr Admin Password
It is recommended to change the default admin password because it is too simple and easy to guess. Considering that we don’t want anyone else to access and modify our router settings without our permission, we need to change the admin password.
1. Access the Home Fibr router settings.
2. Click on Management in the top menu.
3. Complete the required fields with the old password, and then type the new admin password twice. Once in the New Password field and once again in the New Password Confirm field.
4. Once you are done, click on the Apply button to save the new admin password.
NOTE: You will probably be logged out of the admin dashboard when you save the admin password so login again with the new one.
Let’s Change The Home Fibr WiFi Name And Password
Having a well secured wireless network is pretty important today. We don’t want anyone to be able to connect without our permission because all our network devices, personal files and information can be accessed and abused. In order to prevent this from happening, we have to protect our WiFi network with a strong password. If the wireless network is already password protected, it is recommended to change the WiFi password every few months. Here is how to do it.
1. Login to your Home Fibr router.
2. In the top menu click on Network.
3. Now, in the menu on the left click on Advanced to customize the 2.4GHz network or 5G Advanced to customize the 5GHz network
4. In the SSID Name field enter the desired network name.
6. Now from the Security Mode drop-down list select WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK
7. In the Passphrase field type the wireless password.
5. Click the Apply button to save the changes.
8. When you save the new wireless password you should be disconnected from the network if you have connected your device wirelessly. If that happens, connect the device to the network again but this time use the new WiFi password. Also make sure to reconnect the other devices that have been connected to your network before.

After you login successfully for the first time, we recommend saving the admin password somewhere since you will have to use it again when you need to change some settings. In case you forget the admin password, you will have to factory reset the router and set up the network again.
