In case you are using a wireless router produced by TP-Link which normally uses the 192.168.0.1 default IP, you can also access its admin console using the address http://tplinkwifi.net.
When you try to login to the router for the first time, you will be asked to enter the default login username and password if you are doing this for the first time. By default the username and password are “admin”. Type admin in both fields and you will access the router admin page.
On the other hand, in case you have changed these login details previously, you will have touse those, otherwise you won’t be able to login.
Fortunately, if you have forgotten these there is nothing to worry about. You will just need to reset you router to factory settings and later login with the default username and password.
Fix tplinkwifi.net not available
“This site can’t be reached”
Seeing this message in your browser is definitely something you don’t want to see, but it happens. So, instead of starting to panic, let’s see what might be the reason for this and how to fix it tplinkwifi.net not available.
Luckily, there is an easy solution for this problem. However, if by any chance it doesn’t work, we have other fixes you can try on.
STEP 1: Launch your browser
Launching your preferred browser is the first thing to do since we need it to login to the router admin console. There is no specific browser. Just use the one you normally use.
STEP 2: Type tplinkwifi.net into the URL bar. Then hit the Enter button on the keyboard. If the login page doesn’t appear you can try alternative IPs and web addresses, like:
- 192.168.0.1
- 192.168.1.1
- http://tplinklogin.net
Almost certainly the TP-link login page will appear after you enter one of these. Then simply enter the default username and password (admin) and you are good to go.
What if this fix doesn’t work?
In some cases the above-mentioned solution won’t work. However, nothing is lost. There are still some things you need to check.
- If you are trying to connect using your laptop or tablet or any other wireless device, please check whether you are connected to the Wi-Fi connection first. In case you are connected to a different wireless network, you won’t be able to access the desired router. That’s why we recommend accessing the router using a network cable.
- Check the LED lights on your router. Sometimes these lights may reveal the real problem.
- Troubleshoot your network connection form your Windows PC. Right-cick the Network icon in the bottom-right part of your screen. Then click on Troubleshoot problems. The Windows Network Diagnostics will do some tests and offer a solution.
- The very last method, if everything else fails, is hard-resetting the router. However, you need to be aware that all the changes you have made to the router settings before will be erased. This means you will have to configure your router from scratch. And you will also have to update the wireless password to all the devices previously using it.

Hey, I’m David. I’ve been working as a wireless network engineer and a network administrator for 15 years. During my studies, I also worked as an ISP field technician – that’s when I met Jeremy.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in network engineering and a master’s degree in computer science and engineering. I’m also a Cisco-certified service provider.
In my professional career, I worked for router/modem manufacturers and internet providers. I like to think that I’m good at explaining network-related issues in simple terms. That’s exactly what I’m doing on this website – I’m making simple and easy-to-follow guides on how to install, set up, and troubleshoot your networking hardware. I also review new network equipment – modems, gateways, switches, routers, extenders, mesh systems, cables, etc.
My goal is to help regular users with their everyday network issues, educate them, and make them less scared of their equipment. In my articles, you can find tips on what to look for when buying new networking hardware, and how to adjust your network settings to get the most out of your wi-fi.
Since my work is closely related to computers, servers, and other network equipment, I like to spend most of my spare time outdoors. When I want to blow off some steam, I like to ride my bike. I also love hiking and swimming. When I need to calm down and clear my mind, my go-to activity is fishing.
